Double Stand Rears Rich Rewards for PR Lighting at GET Show 2015
2015-04-10

For the fifth year in succession PRLighting were able to report a 100% positive reaction to their new product showcaseat this year’s GET Show 2015.

Held once again at thePoly World Trade Expo Centerin Guangzhou, by Industry Association of South China EntertainmentEquipment (SCEE), all the major Chinese lighting and audiomanufacturers participated.

In fact PR Lighting increased theirpresence by taking two large 108 sq.m stands this year — one booth dedicated toProfessional lighting, the other strictly to Entertainment lighting. Said salesdirector, Ernie Armas, “This not only demonstrated the strength of PR Lighting— by being able to show over 350 working units — but enabled visitors to seeour products from a different perspective.”

Aside from the busy footfall that dominated their stands during the four days of the show, the week effectively started for the Chinese manufacturer the day before, whenmany delegates visited the factory, and continued right through until April 8th.“At its peak we were receiving150 visitors a day,” Armas exclaimed.

And the reason for this had largely to do with the exciting newdischarge and LED ranges being previewed. While they were able to gauge marketfeedback on pre-production versions of the XR 330 Framing and XR 470 Beam, PRLighting could also present already launched additions to the popular XR series,in the form of the XR 1000 Framing and XR 130 Beam. The Framing version of theXR 330 high-output moving head, which has adopted PR patented technology, combines advanced 330 watts lamp technology with superb optical system.

Outputting 13,500 lumens of high quality light with a flat and uniformfield, it contains four individually adjustable shutter blades (±30°) and 1:10fast zoom, while the entire system can rotate through 90°.

Meanwhile, the fully-featured XR 470 Beam houses an advanced Philips 20Rdischarge lamp to provide a powerful 23,000 lumens of high quality beam light.

The new LED product that caught the eye was the XLED 250 Beam, beingshown for the first time and also for release later in the year. This isequipped with a 70W white LED lamp (with brightness equal to 250W dischargelight) and can provide a 4.3° beam light. Weighing just 4.1kg, and offering pan and tilt and soundoperation, this innovative fixture lined up alongside the recently launchedXLED 3007 ad XRLED 700 Spot.

“We received exactly the reaction we were hoping for to these newproducts as we head over to Europe for Prolight+Soundin Germany,”summarised Ernie Armas.
