From September 16th to 18th, 2025, the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference commenced in Huaihua. As a key observation project under the conference's “One Axis, Three Points” initiative, the newly unveiled Commercial Complex of Cultural Tourism in Yushuwan, Huaihua received technical support from PR Lighting, transforming the revitalized Yushuwan Old Street into Huaihua’s cultural living room and a new tourism landmark.
Rooted in Huaihua’s regional culture, Yushuwan integrates architectural features of ethnic minorities like the Dong and Miao, boasting intangible cultural heritage projects such as drum towers, the Wunu Tribe Experience Hall, and the Nuo Mask Hall. With diverse formats, it emphasizes creating an immersive experiential block combining folk culture, commerce, and artistic performances.
As night falls, the Yushuwan complex glows with dazzling light, seamlessly connecting architectural contours, scenic walkways, and commercial spaces, forming a uniquely charming nighttime spectacle in Huaihua.
High-waterproof beam fixtures of Guanghui series deliver sharp, full and intensive beams akin to stage spotlights, breathing new life into Yushuwan. The spot fixtures of Guangyu series showcase the allure of Wunu intangible heritage, with changing light depicting Huaihua’s profound historical legacy and vibrant local life.
Under the night sky, the Xuefeng Drum Tower becomes a dreamlike centerpiece of Yushuwan’s Youth Square. Visitors can experience millennia of rural and ethnic traditions beneath the drum tower while immersive performances and interactive light bring them to the bustling docks of Hong merchants’ golden age—a world of crowded merchants, converging goods, and endless rows of houses.
Tradition meets modernity and culture merges with technology. PR Lighting crafts Yushuwan into Huaihua’s "ethnic charm landmark" through lighting aesthetics, showcasing the region’s multicultural vibrancy and interpreting two fusions of "culture plus technology" and "culture plus tourism" to drive high-quality integrated development of Huaihua’s cultural tourism sector.
